These two are both interviewed by the same young guy who didn't strike me as being a typical Fawlty fan, if he is then I apologise in advance.

Zavvi - The Home of Pop CultureThe classic BBC comedy comes to Blu-ray for the first time, starring John Cleese, Prunella Scales, Andrew Saches and Connie Booth. As a big fan of British humour, especially Monty Python and Black Adder, I purchased Fawlty Towers - The Complete Collection (30th Anniversary) for my wife and myself for a good laugh before the good night's sleep. In the second, Basil backs himself into a corner with lies as usual, but this time there's a party guest (Ken Campbell) who sees through each and every one of his excuses and is visibly amused, giving the audience something to laugh at other than Basil's misfortune.

Fawlty Towers" comes in a 3-disc digipak inside a sleeve, with some curious 3D paintings of the hotel. The Out Takes are a bit disappointing, in my opinion; there are only eight or so, none of which are as good as you might hope.

The Kipper and the Corpse’ finds Basil and Manuel trying to dispose of a dead body without any of the guests noticing. One of the main reasons most people will have opted for the DVD box set, or bought it even if they have the videos, is the third Special Feature disc.

You'd think at some point, he'd stop putting any faith in Manuel's ability to understand him, or stop trying to hide certain things from Sybil, but he never does, resulting in the various predicaments all feeling alike. Check in with Basil Fawlty (John Cleese, Monty Python films), the sharp-tongued, short-tempered hotel manager plagued by dead guests, hotel inspectors and his domineering wife, Sybil. Nov 2009: The complete series has now been remastered and rereleased with commentary by John Cleese and a new interview with Connie Booth who had until recently refused to discuss her work on Fawlty Towers.
